About the Course

The Spacious Path is a 28-day, self-paced practice journey for anyone living with sustained pressure. It begins with a simple premise: when life feels full, the first act of self-mastery is to create space — in the body, the mind, and the way we relate — so we can meet life with more choice. Across many traditions, fasting has been one of the oldest trainings in making space. Seasonal observances like Ramadan and Lent treat abstaining from food as a doorway. From the body, the practice naturally expands into subtler domains: mental noise, reactivity, judgment, and the habits that quietly shape our days. The Spacious Path draws on wisdom and practices from the Silk Roads — especially Sufi and Zen traditions — and pairs them with modern insights on human development. The first three weeks are a kind of detox: clearing space in body, mind, and relationships. The final week is the retox: choosing deliberately what returns, so what you’ve learned carries into your everyday rhythm.

About your Guide

I’m Alper Tengüz — leadership development consultant, executive coach, and founder of The Leadership Space, a leading home for wisdom-based leadership. My path has taken me from engineering and management consulting into the deeper questions of human growth, purpose, and presence. I grew up between East and West, and I guide from Istanbul — a threshold city where ancient traditions meet modern megapolis life. My work integrates systems thinking with contemplative practice to help high-performing people navigate complexity with clarity, compassion, and depth. I create spaces where we slow down enough to reconnect — and lead from what’s essential.
